Hier aan de kust, de Zeeuwse kust... When it comes to music, Zeeland is once again not short of it this year. Concert at Sea, Vestrock, City of Dance and Festival Aan Zee are the annual summer festivals in Zeeland that are put on big time again and again. From delicious sing-alongs to old school sounds. This year DI-RECT, Danny Vera, Claude and Antoon, among others, are waving the sand off the beaches.

Also this year, the 20th edition of Kustmarathon Zeeland will take off. Over dikes and dunes along the endless coastline of Zeeland, the fanatical runners will reach the finish line. The start and finish is in Zoutelande. Will you be there on Saturday, October 7?

Arts, music and performancesIn Veere

Veere may be small, but Veere is big on organization. From the weekly Historical Market to the impressive Dance Theater. In the picturesque town, history can be found on the streets. Go back in time at the Grote Kerk Experience and immerse yourself in stories at the Culture Stage.

The Veerse buildings are admirable to behold but one by one they also have a past function. After surviving all the calamities, the Veerse pearls are being given new life. Now you can visit them for concerts, performances and exhibitions.

As icing on the cake, surprising tastings and Zeeland delicacies complete your stay in Veere. Every Saturday throughout the summer, a Fish and Fresh Market is ready for you to sample the cream of the crop.

After all those delicacies, you can visit real Veere restaurants for an evening bite to eat. We recommend Restaurant De Werf, Italian restaurant 1611, Brasserie de Peperboom and In Den Struyskelder.
